Anne O’Boyle Vlahos, author of to die for: The Gifts of Being Present Through Loss and Grief, will be hosting a talk and book signing on Tuesday, October 16th at 6:00pm at Shining Through. To Die For, although about death, is really about hope. It shares her journey, story, thoughts and experiences to provide you with a new perspective, thoughts and patterns to help you look at death in a way that’s actually positive.
Join Anne for this special presentation as she shares a few tools for you to take care of yourself while you are still grieving, explore different ways to connect with your loved ones in spirit, find out how to change your process from sadness to celebration, and more…
Death was never an event Anne’s parents sheltered her from as she grew up. They took her to a wake for the first time at the age of two. Though only one of two children, Anne is from a large family with an abundance of opportunities to see that many struggled with loss for many reasons. When Anne lost Baba, her maternal grandmother, it was the beginning of her journey to develop a personal understanding of death, spirituality, and life’s meaning.
